Exploration potential
Assessment of the exploration potential of the Silver Mine project is largely based on the deep-penetrating Sampo survey conducted in 2011 and 2013 by the Geological Survey of Finland. This, combined with the geological observations and drill hole information, suggests that the mineralization has continuation to the depth of 1,5 to 2 kilometers.
The quantity of the data is not sufficient to allow a reasonable mineral resource estimate. However, it is possible to quote a range of tonnes and grades to estimate the exploration potential of the depth extension of the Silver Mine. Exploration potential is conceptual in nature and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a mineral resource.
Exploration potential is estimated to be in range of 20 to 40 million tonnes at the grades of 40 to 80 g/t Ag, 0,1 to 0,3 g/t Au, 0,15 to 0,3 % Pb and 0,3 to 0,7 % Zn. Exploration potential is exclusive of reported Mineral Resource estimate.
Tons (Mt) | Ag (g/t) | Au (g/t) | Pb (%) | Zn (%) | |
Exploration potential | 20-40 | 40-80 | 0,1-0,3 | 0,15-0,3 | 0,3-0,7 |
